RESPONSIBLITIES

All kinds of feeding, bathing of patients, grooming, oral, nail, skin, and hair care, as well as dump dusting.

Cases managed; peptic ulcer, pneumonia, dementia, diabetes, hypertension, tuberculosis, stoke, epilepsy, arthritis, malaria, HIV and Aids, clinical depression, bipolar and anxiety disorders

Duties include;

Feeding of patients

Aseptic wound cleaning and dressing

Offering oral, skin, hair and nail care

Initiate emergency interventions to stabilize patients

Dump dusting

Medication administration

Preparing of meals

Dressing patients

Preparing patients beds and ensuring they are comfortable

Care of patients on various enteral feeding including nasogastric and administration.

To bath, groom and assist patients with activities of daily living

Perform manual aspiration

Perform physical examination and mental state examination.

To provide emotional, social, and mental care to residents and their relatives.
