Directed operations of all functional areas of HR within the framework of State and Federal regulations as well as the Town’s Bylaws and Personnel Policies. Developed and implemented systems and processes to support and maintain the organization’s workforce, and managed and monitored a benefits trust that included compensation and retirement plans, medical and other work/life benefits for active employees and retirees. Assisted Town Manager with the supervision of department leaders, including the Fire Chief, Chief of Police, Library Director, Senior Center Director, Dept. of Public Works Director, and the Town’s Youth Program Coordinator. In collaboration with Town Manager, managed four unions that included police, fire, public works, and emergency dispatchers. Provided Town Manager with TA on Teacher’s Union contract negotiations.
