Position: Site Manager/Field Project Manager
• Maintain a safe work site in accordance with OSHA, Mechcore, and our customer’s safety standards and requirements.
• Know the scope of work and project deliverables based on the proposal and the layout drawings
• Manage communications with the onsite customer, Project Manager, the Mechcore Project Manager, Mechcore internal team, and all installation trades.
• Drive the project schedule based on the customer and Mechcore timeline expectations
• Manage site resources and communicate any needs and/or concerns with the Mechcore Project Manager
• Assist with the construction permitting process. This would include, scheduling inspections, delivering permit packages to the appropriate location in the area, obtaining the permit once it is ready for pick-up, coordinate with the inspectors, etc.
• Supervise the loading/unloading of trucks with material or equipment.
• Ensure that incoming loads are carefully inventoried and communicate errors to the project manager and the driver.
• Ensure all invoices and Bills of Lading/Packing List are sent to accounting in a timely manner.
• Maintain a good working relationship with the Customer and their representative.
• Assist the Project Manager as needed with project change m notices (PCN)
• Prepare and submit daily site reports using MS Word or Excel.
• Manage project quality in conjunction with the Project Manager
• Work with the Project Manager for a smooth handoff of the project to the customer upon completion.
• Manage and maintain an accurate set of “Red Lined Drawings” and make sure they are turned over to the Project Manager or engineering at the end of the project.
• Maintain an active punch list of items that need corrections and when those items are completed.
