PERSONAL PROFILE
Charles is a seasoned HR expert and Award winner, member of the Human Resource Managers’ Association of Uganda (HRMAU), qualified both as an HR professional and teacher. He is desirous and focusses on working in a highly competitive environment that provides managerial and knowledge challenges. He possesses extensive hands on experience in HR and administration and academic work within the public and private sectors. He has for example; worked been a classroom teacher and Careers’ Master for 09 years, Assistant District Registrar with Electoral Commission, Bukwo District for 02 years and a Human Resource Officer with Electoral Commission for 10 years where he has worked in areas of recruitment, training and development and performance management.
A passionate HR expert with nine (10) years’ practical experience focused on furthering Human Capital Development, Charles has developed and reviewed Human Resource Policies and guidelines including the Human Resource Management Manual, 2016. In 2017, he competed and won the award of the Best Human Resource Officer, Public Sector an award given by the Human Resource Managers’ Association of Uganda having profiled and excelled in the recruitment function. Along the way, he has gained and developed strong analytical, communication, interpersonal, team-building, decision-making, problem-solving and research skills. He pays strong emphasis to quality and timeliness.
Charles has strong and highly relevant academic qualifications including an on-going Masters in Management Studies (HRM Option), Post-graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management, Bachelors of Human Resource Management (First class Hons), Bachelors of Education and a Certificate in Administrative Law.

Coordinating recruitment and selection of employees
Coordinating the selection of interns and management of their activities
Coordinating and conducting orientation and induction of employees
Coordination of training needs assessment for employees and drawing the annual training plan of the organization

Managing the appraisal process of all staff and coordinating the recommendations arising therefrom
