Customer Service Representative
(2022); Toysmith; As a CSR, my duties included inputting orders, assisting customers, and answering phones. I initiated claims, assisted the sales staff and served as a liason between the customer and the warehouse pushing orders through shipping. I also was responsible for monitoring and helping e-commerce customers with their orders and concerns including inputting orders, shipment tracking, answering the message board and responding to reviews. I also worked closely with FAT Customer support and the A/R department for accurate billing. I served as back up to the e-commerce coordinator and manager to ensure customer satisfaction. I am knowledgeable in NetSuite and had been actively maintaining the e-commerce sites as needed.

University of Washington Tacoma (2012 - ) I have one class left to graduate from the Environmental Studies program. The emphasis of my studies has been Geology, Sustainable Urban Development and Geographical Information Systems (real-time computer mapping and logistics). During my time at the UW, I performed a year-long scientific field study on Anthropogenic modifications on the natural beach environment and presented my findings at the University of Washington Science Symposium in 2013. I made the Associate’s Deans list twice and the Dean’s list once for excellence in academics and assisted in the GIS program as a TA for two quarters. I also designed an interactive board game called “You Otter Know” for students in Peru to learn about the Giant River Otters that live there. My game was duplicated and sent to students in a rural village in Peru.
Highline Community College (2007 – 2012) Received my AA degree with honors in 2009. My studies emphasized Biology and creative writing. I was an editor for the school’s literary magazine for 2 years and a consultant to the editors for a year. I was the subject of a front page news article in the campus newspaper for high achieving single mothers in 2011. I graduated Phi Theta Kappa, the honors society for Community Colleges with a 3.8 GPA. I applied to and was accepted to the RN program in 2010 (only 47 applicants accepted). Attended RN classes from 2010 – 2012; transferred to UW in 2012.
South Seattle Community College Satellite location (1992) Received certificate in Administrative Careers in Business and government emphasizing on Typing, Filing, 10 key, Dictation, word processing (Word Perfect), and spreadsheets (Lotus 123) and Beta testing Microsoft Word.
