Cuyahoga County Administrator’s Office: Director of Grants Administration Worked cooperatively with internal and external organizations including municipalities, universities, courts, foundations, and the State of Ohio to increase the flow of federal funding into Northeast Ohio. Conceptualized and facilitated the development of strategy and partnerships focusing on regional economic development projects including the funding of the Great Lakes initiative, community revitalization and energy efficiency. Cuyahoga County Department of Justice Affairs: Assistant Director Facilitated management of a multi-division County agency, including Emergency Management, E911, and the Criminal Justice Services Agency (CJSA) Divisions. Developed and executed a strategy positioning Cuyahoga County and the City of Cleveland to access federal grant awards through the Criminal Justice Services Supervisory Board (CJSSB). Successfully competed for federal discretionary grants exceeding $65,000,000 in value, and awarded by the U.S. Departments of Homeland Security, Justice, Labor, HHS, Commerce and Education. Cuyahoga County Department of Justice Affairs: Program Officer 4 Assessed and evaluated national models and evidence-based practices in juvenile and adult justice systems. Served as liaison with State and Federal agencies on justice related pilot projects, systems planning and information dissemination.
