Motivational letter:
I am a 23 year old BA graduate from Cape Town, South Africa. I hold a 120 hour TESOL certificate and a 4 year degree in Psychology. I enjoy learning as much as I possibly can. My core interests include literature, philosophy, history, films, bonding with new people, and reading. My devotion lies in taking care of animals and sustaining healthy relationships with those around me, but especially myself. Philosophy plays a big role in shaping my actions and beliefs My adoration for animals is fueled by the fact that I grew up with many of them. This has made me very soft and gentle because I try to take care of the vulnerable and uncared for I feel compelled to share innate and acquired knowledge with younger people and those around me, and I wish that they, too, would share their knowledge with me. This is exactly why I am interested in teaching English abroad- not only would I be traveling and getting the opportunity to explore South Korea, but I would also be able to share my knowledge with younger people. Curiosity is what makes up a big portion of who I truly am. I am very good with children. I am certain that I will excel as an English teacher. In this sense I imagine that I would be free to express who I am. Being confined to one place all my life is beyond me, so with my interest in teaching, my ability to understand children and communicate with them, and my passion for learning and discovering— this is the perfect job for me to pursue.
