Monitor inventory levels daily and react to/escalate out-of-norm situations as appropriate

Major Accomplishments/Contributions:
When a key supplier experienced difficulty in meeting GM’s above-capacity schedules and jeopardized GM’s ability to maintain production of it’s popular new line of trucks & SUVs, I took the GSC lead in monitoring & communicating precise inventory levels on a 7 day-a-week basis and in doing so enabled a close synchronization of supplier capacity with Bay City requirements – thereby ensuring no negative impact to the truck/SUV assembly schedules
I provided consistent, dependable, accurate and timely data that supported a level production capability and escalated out-of-norm situations as appropriate.
