As the cash office representative I preformed the same duties as the customer service cashier only now I was responsible for counting and verifying the amount of money in the safe at the beginning and end of shift, counting registers for open and close or shift change, preparing and making daily deposits to the bank, making change orders as needed, which included calling them into the bank and picking up, and completing all paperwork required daily in reference to returns processed and money transactions to be pulled if corporate was to perform an audit. As the women's department head my responsibilities included checking my area for cleanliness and organization, gathering any items that did not belong or were out of place, check for price changes, display changes, or sign changes, stock floor with new merchandise and/or changing any floor layouts as instructed by management, process any damages or returns, and follow up with management for any big projects. The responsibility of being a key carrier and manager on duty meant that I was solely responsible for the entire store being run according to corporates guidelines.

When I was hired at Goodys I was a seasonal temp. Due to unexpected circumstances I had to move and transferred as part time associate.
