Provide the various types of communication available from a central office

Perform routine tests on normal and emergency power facilities and equipment

Install, test and maintain various types of voice and carrier equipment, including official communications services

Operate and maintain equipment such as motors, generators, storage batteries, and motors.

Test and turn up broad band equipment and wiring broad band equipment on main frames in central offices.

Worked on induction heating units 480 volts 150 kW

Replaced electronic components capacitor SCR diode inductor.

Worked on water line for cooling system.

Worked on air compressors.

Replaced sea; s fpr oil leaks.

Checked daily for PSI reading.

Replaced coil in starter motor for air compression.

Replace 3-phase motor in N/C machine. Hooked up starter motor in control panel for water pump, three-phase hookup.

600 vac fuses.

Replaced ballast for light fixtures in 277 volt, 110-volt hook up.

Used flute digital meter and 260 Simpson meter for testing volt current and resistance.

Rebuild coils for heating metal high voltage coils.

May 1990-February 1992

Maintenance Repair Assistance/Repairman Class-C, PCC Airfoils, INC.

Responsible for soldering, installing water lines, pipe threading, pulling computer wire through race way form computer hook-up

Responsible for installing power ballast on light fixtures, repairing electrical wax heater.

Assisted in running conduit for electrical hook-up to bus line and disconnect.

Replace AD/DC motors.

Duties also included replacing belts on cut off saw and gear boxes.

Changed filters in air conditioner units, assisted in preventative maintenance on robot and grinding machines, and drove tow motor to load/unload materials.
