Brief Project Description and Detailed Summary of Individual's Project Duties and Responsibilities Milling, base repairs, resurfacing S.R.248 westbound at Sta.91+50 concrete pavement began and asphalt overlay milled from SR248 eastbound & westbound including SR145 intersection @ ABC signal & SR873 intersection/turning lanes. Outside of the original resurfacing work ending at 91+50 ahead I continued to mark out stationing consistent with method from wearing course end at 91+50 to 116+40. Westbound is cantilever overhang and eastbound beneath for which IIC determined what areas met criteria for concrete pavement patches and marked for measurement, type and layout per RC standards for myself to do with separate crew and also handled oversight of longitudinal & transverse joint saw cutting, cleaning, measuring and sealing. Deteriorated state of roadway called for additional repairs added before ultra-thin bonded wearing course (nova chip) could be applied, required additional concrete pavement patches, FJ1 placement at larger spalling around joints, type 2 repair w/ hd50 at end of westbound limit full width, joint sealing scheduled, completed and all concrete pavement prepped for nova chip. Due to extreme conditions paving crew returned for base repairs at area previously resurfaced and necessary methods used to stabilize and place wearing course before starting ultra-thin bonded wearing course (nova chip) at opposite end of project. I tracked all additional work force account and scheduled cylinder breaks before project wrap up was finished.
