Shipping Clerk

● Communicate with Lead Shipper to prepare docks for upcoming shifts using yard jockey.

●Prepare BOL paperwork for drivers and end customers.

●Receive and ship all virtual shipments using Dropbox and Teams to work with purchasers and other relevant office staff to ensure these were handled in a timely manner.

●Make sure all monthly and quarterly cleaning was done and sign offs emailed to the shift supervisor.

●Ship and receive all incoming and outgoing shipments using SAP to attach all relevant files and photos.

●Order all CHEP, stock, and heat-treated skids. Keep inventory on Eastern Regions CHEP pallets. Do all transfers of CHEP pallets for the Eastern Region.

●Prepare dead tank circuit breakers to ship according to specifications, using Bill of Materials.

●Apply linkage, roofs,CT cans to bushings, etc. to all outgoing circuit breakers.

●Wrap bushings, apply service stickers, charge handles, and other labels to breakers.

●Check all fluids in the assigned company vehicle to ensure they are at correct levels and fill when necessary, make sure turn signals and lights are in working order, and ensure the company vehicle is clean and ready for shift change.

●Attend safety meetings and make sure things run smoothly in a safe manner.

●Ensure traffic follows all speed limits and follows all posted signs; drivers are wearing seat belts and using four ways on all lease roads.

●Ensure Water Bottles, Sand cans, 18 Wheelers, Crew Vans, Crew Buses, Fuel Cans, etc. safely enter and exit oil and gas pads.

●Communicate with coworkers, truck drivers and other vehicles using CB radios.

●Communicate with the sand coordinator to direct trucks where to go on pad.

●Safely stage trucks until they are needed on the pad.

●Log time in, time out, truck numbers, truck company names, driver names, plate numbers and state where registered, fresh water or impaired water, whether the truck is a sand can, fuel can, or water bottle for incoming and outgoing trucks and fill out end of day reports on whether there were any issues or changes, car issues, problems and how they resolved, and if anyone stayed over or was late.

●Ensure traffic does not enter or drive on roads that do not allow well traffic and that all trucks follow curfews and use correct CB channels.

●Safely back water trucks to the manifold, place cones in front of water trucks, fill out information on company iPad, as well as, on the trucking company iPad, and sign off on the barrels off-loaded into AST and the barrels taken out of the AST.

●Send water levels hourly to the water tower and company men.

●Check hoses, clamps, and pins to make sure all is in safe working order and that there are none missing, as well as replace any missing, worn, or broken parts or equipment. Filling out paperwork to track checks and keep track of replaced, broken, and missing parts. Check the AST tank for wear and tear and rust. Immediately report any problems or issues with hoses, clamps, pins, AST tank to appropriate company man, water towers, and supervisors.
