RE: Part-Time Security Officer, 7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m., Weekends
Dear Allied Universal Human Resources Director:
I believe that I am an excellent fit for the position based on the job description. I am ready to begin working for SEI immediately. I am an excellent fit because you mentioned that retirees are encouraged to apply. I am not retired, but I have been in the workforce for well over two decades. I have taken the liberty to tell you a little about myself below. I will share more if you select me for an interview.
I have taught for the past 23 years at Southwest Tennessee Community College, and I began working remotely in 2020 after the pandemic. My schedule of asynchronous teaching allows me to be home during the day—every day of the week—and I am therefore available to work the hours/shift needed on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights. I also possess the “soft skills” of critical thinking, optimistic enthusiasm, even temperament, pleasant demeanor, diligent work ethic, and moral direction. I am organized, disciplined, and highly motivated as well.
I look forward to hearing from you to arrange an interview. I hope that I am selected to your team. Thank you for your time.
Sincerely,
Victoria J. Gray
