PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
Environmental Health and Safety: Over 26 years of experience in radiological health and safety field. Performed hazard recognition and implementation of job hazard controls, including accident investigation and implementation of corrective actions. Radiological control technician for 16 years and 10 years in a supervisory/management role. Coordinated health and safety duties in the military as a safety officer and ordnance handling supervisor. Work history:
Water Remediation Technology - Radiological Control Technician (6/14-Present).
Perform radiological control duties in support of media exchanges at municipal water system throughout the US. Prepare shipping documents per 49 CFR in the transportation logistics ofradiological material to disposal sites. Adhered to all local and Federal laws and regulations to include documentation. Administer and issue dosimeter program for 44 independent well sites.
Los Alamos National Laboratory- EH&S Department Radiological Control Tech/ SME (4/06-06/14), Comforce Technical Services 4/05 to 4/06, 50 hrs/week
Interfaced with facility and operational personnel providing radiological support, guidance, and environmental sampling for emergency and off normal events. Performed air sampling, conducted contamination and radiation surveys for compliance and job support. Coordinate RCT support covering customer needs, building support requirements and compliance surveys. First line manager duties responsible for safe operation of facility radiological job activities.
