•Migration of DTCC Omgeo Trade Suite Services: Migrated confirms and affirms of FI trades from fat clients to real time event driven architecture. Aim was to reduce processing time from 70mins to 3secs per trade to gain competitive market edge. I delivered a multithreaded low-latency Enterprise Service Solution with multiple instances running in active-active mode.

•Migration of swift instructions: Rewrote the generation of Swift instructions for Standard Settlement Instructions [SSI] and validate payment instructions with the Office of the Foreign Asset Control [OFAC] Specially Designated Nationals [SDN]. I organized the deliverables and teams using Scrum, XP and Kanban.

•Redesign of the Tri-Party Repo Trading Systems: A global Resiliency and cost saving project to migrate from IBM WebSphere to Ubiquitous Messaging [UM], Spring and Tomcat. It required facilitating non-intrusive deliverables with no interruption to trading activities.

•Design & Development of Trade Status Monitor [TSM]: I led a swat team to deliver a critical Web services to reduce manual processing and enable automated predictive decision making. I ran the project from its inception phase through to go-live and post-implementation support.

•Loading dock development: Designed and developed for collecting, persisting and mirroring vendor [incl. Bloomberg, Reuters] file systems. It increased cyber security by eliminating the need for multiple feeds across the firewall.

•Derivatives Futures & Options Calendar Spread: I designed and implemented feeds to leverage Bloomberg as a vendor to harness the use of calendar spreads for Derivatives E-trading. It was a quick Time to Market key deliverable in the F&O space that generated new revenue streams. Core technologies included java & spring across SQL Server; Oracle databases on Linux platforms.
