Reorganizing Hospital operations to maximize opportunities as a Critical Access Hospital. This facility was purchased by Murphy Medical Center in February 2002, where I as made the decision to close this hospital. CEO/CFO

Responsible for oversight of both administrative and financial operations of the hospital. Recruited four physicians to DeQuincy resulting in seven physicians to serve a population of approximately 20,000. Also, in the CEO role oversaw all the duties of other department directors and programs. Was able to full fill the CFO role with limited day to day operations because of very strong personnel in the controller and business office manager positions. Was still responsible for monthly financial analysis and completion of monthly financial statements that required monthly presentation to the hospital board of directors.
