• Managed and maintained a 90 mile, 96F cable route by performing monthly, quarterly and annual preventive maintenance testing and inspections utilizing an OTDR and storing traces on diskette.

• Monitored contractors on hot-cut fiber splicing for AT&T project. Cleaned, cleaved and tested fiber optic cables using a fiberscope and operated a Vignettist CMA-4000 OTDR and Wettest Power Meter and Light Source for verifying db levels and span-loss totals involving critical telecommunications circuits and systems.

• Interfaced and coordinated scheduled and emergency call-out maintenance and testing activities with Frontier, GTE, Adelphia and Alltel technicians occupying the multi-tenant rooms within the facility

• Coordinated with Norfolk Southern Rail Corporation by scheduling excavation and construction activities with utility companies and contractors on excavation activities and various railroad projects while determining cable relocation strategies with Qwest construction personnel.
