VOLUNTEER WORK

Stroke screening at Carteret Health Care: I helped take blood pressures while my co-worker went through a stroke risk exam with the clients.

Health screening for Carteret County Head Start programs: I worked with children and their families to go through two questionnaires for developmental growth, obtain height and weight of each child, and I assessed each child’s vision and hearing.

Flu shot clinic at Carteret Community College: I obtained blood pressures and blood sugar levels for clients after they had received their flu shot.

I created a poster with a group to educate Psychiatric clients at The Beach House establishment in Morehead City, NC. I also helped create a poster for a Breast Cancer Awareness public speaker.
