• Designed a system to operate four concentricity gages from one drive.

• Designed an Adjustable Media Separation unit to fit into an existing machine.

• 3D Cable routing for GPS, Navigation and Crew installations in the FAASV.

LOCKHEED MARTIN CORPORATION (Maritime Systems and Sensors) Manassas, VA 2005 – 2008 Mechanical Designer (Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 2.0/ SDRC I-DEAS 9 series m3, 3D modeling)

• Engineered and Designed air flow seals and plenums for a 35 pound power supply mounted in an airplane.

These seals were mounted on a door and wall and designed to follow the movement of the power supply

(mounted in a cradle on vibration isolators) for inch in every direction.

• 3D Sheet metal design of Electronic enclosures. Fixtures to modify equipment in the field, cable

assemblies and I/O Panels. GD&T per ASME Y14.5M-1994.

• Designed antenna mounts for Humvees in mirror area and on bumpers.

• Checked layouts, assemblies and drawings for clarity, completeness and conformity to standards, procedures

and specifications.

• Plumbing layout for cooling system.

• Packaging of airborne electronics and equipment.

• Generating original concepts and evolve them into functional detailed designs.

• Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 2.0, (Windchill IPDE).Creating models, I/O Panels, Assemblies and translating

them into drawings. Cabinets, Cooling System and Weldments.

(This position was a six month contract which was extended).

LABORATORY for LASER ENERGETICS, Rochester, NY 3/2005 – 5/2006 Mechanical Designer (SDRC I-DEAS, 10NX Series m2, 3D modeling)

• 3D/2D to produce a drawing package for an Optical Module and Enclosure assembly.

• Provided critical design support to Mechanical Engineering group.

• Conducted tolerance studies to ensure proper fit and function of parts.

• Assigned tolerances, both conventional and GD&T per ASME Y14.5M-1994.

• Provided support for development of prototype parts, including models, machined parts and sheet metal.

• Assisted in the establishment of overall design requirements from project outlines and specifications to create

details of conceptual design nature.

• Take components from modeled assemblies and flush out details. Able to calculate tolerances, dimension out
