As a Patient Service Representative, my job responsibilities include registering new patients into our Electronic Medical Record system, checking patients in for their appointments, scheduling appointments, End of Day duties such as closing out the accounts for the day and depositing money into the company account. I am also proficient in billing/coding, when needed I send out estimates to patients, and fix any coding errors before the encounter gets sent to the patient's insurance company.
