As Meat Cutter I am eager to deal directly with customers and answer questions on everything from grilling to nutrition. I am willing to be trained to prepare the outstanding quality cuts that Sobeys has built its reputation on. Become part of the team that offers our customers some of our best-selling products. I am experienced with previous Retail Meat Cutting experience and some knowledge of various cuts of meat and willing to get Sobeys specific training that will be provided. I can performance the key responsibilities as upholds and complies with company procedures, standards and policies in all situations as required and trained. Greets customers in a polite and friendly manner. Demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with Sobeys’s programs. Cut and prepare meat products for display using knives and saws according to Sobeys’s training requirements. Stocking various meat products to shelves. Maintaining and building merchandise displays in compliance with Sobeys programs. Use of commercial power equipment as per Sobeys’s protocols. Order writing, Receiving and rotating product. Filling product showcases. Cleaning and sanitizing of work area.

I have previous job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities, Ability to learn quickly, ability to work in a fast paced environment. Highly motivated and team oriented. Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in both oral and written form, Possess strong Customer Service qualities, Works in a Safe and responsible manner. Available to work flexible hours. Evening and weekend availability is strongly encouraged. Previous Retail Meat Cutting experience an asset. I am available to be scheduled anytime on Sunday, fit for the required Physical Requirements for constant lifting of up to 20 pounds, constant hand coordination, reaching and gripping, frequent standing, squatting, bending, walking, twisting, pushing or pulling, occasional lifting of between 20-100 pounds, and exposure to cold temperatures. I am friendly, enthusiastic individual who enjoy giving to customers the best polite shopping experience.

I have a Multi-disciplinary work experience, last six years a related experience in two federally and provincially registered slaughterhouses and meat processing plants. I had experienced working in COSTCO deli department and Walmart. I came from abroad since 2008 to Canada nowadays my status is as citizen of Canada. I hope I could have an opportunity to work and improve my skills and work at Sobeys. I can start as soon as required, willing to learn and work as you do need and flexible.
