Duties include but not limited to:

Assisting 5 doctor practice in single tooth extractions full mouth extractions Alveo-plasty wisdom teeth extractions All on 4 implant procedures as well as multiple teeth and single tooth implant procedure with bone grafting. Pathology and other biopsy procedures of mouth and lip TMJ procedures impressions for night guards. TMJ surgery jaw fractures and Orthognathic surgery as

well as lavage. Surgery guided implant cases PGRF LPRF bone grafting. Provide assistance with these procedures while patient chooses to have local anesthetic, with or with out nitrous oxide in which I am certified to administer the gas. The patient may choose general anesthesia as well. I start IV drug lines and administer anesthesia drugs (Versed Fentanyl ketamine Zofran Decodron, Propolol toradol and Robinol and the list goes on... per surgeons guidance. This assisting in the procedure all while monitoring the patients breathing, heart rate and oxygen levels. Discuss post operative care with patient and instruct care giver of the directions. Proficient and certified in XRAY taking which Includes PAs, Bws,pano and cone beam CT scans pulling medications for IVs. Post opt procedures teaching patients on what to expect after

procedure change gauze and monitor vitals until they are released also many other essential procedures in a oral surgeon office. Light duties included answering phones schedule appointments failed implant returns and dealing with insurance companies and collecting money. Dental and medical coding and billing I have my DAANCE IV sedation certified certificate received in 2018 and CPR certified

I am a single mother to 3 children 1 son who is 20 and plays baseball planning to go to Michigan State on scholarship and 2 girls ages 7 and 8 years old as well as a 1 year old grandbaby I help raise. They are what brings me joy and happiness and being with them is what I do in my spare time! I love what I do in my profession. Making patients smile makes me smile. I myself exceptionally good care of my teeth and have always been complimented on my smile and I wish I could bring those qualities to my patients at least teach them how to do the correct hygiene and take care of their teeth therapy crowns and implants and whatnot so they too can have a great smile. A great smile makes your self-esteem that much better. I went to college to be a dental hygienist and it wasn't for me as I realize I did not want to clean teeth all day. I wish I had fulfilled my dream in being an oral surgeon. I guess it's never too late...
