THE ONLINE PROCESSING (TOPS): TOPS is UnitedHealth Group's primary Claim Adjudication Engine that streamlines the claim processing function through automation. Components of TOPS are coupled together to form a portion of the United Healthcare Network of Systems (UNET). It interacts with other applications in the UNET family to intake, edit, and auto adjudicate more than 85 percent of all claims (Medical, Dental, Vision & Pharmacy) received.
Responsibilities:
Working as onshore Production Support & Enhancements Lead for supporting UNET & Field Management Report (FMR) applications. Team of 60 offshore/onshore resources are supporting the TOPS application having 22 CICS Claim Processing Regions and 25 supporting regions processing 1.5 million claims a day. Total of 45,000 batch jobs are executed per week for processing the various feeds.
Proven onshore/offshore coordinator for resolving the complex issues with the acquired technical skills and able to meet the application service level agreements (SLA’s).

ONLINE CUSTOMER ACCESS SYSTEM (OCAS): Online Customer Access System (OCAS) is a backend application providing package details, movement details and scheduled delivery date and time to UPS.COM tracking requests. OCAS also provide package status to UPS internal applications used by customer support and other ancillary applications providing package visibility to corporate customers. OCAS receives online requests through intermediate application Customer Message Server where load balancing of requests takes place. On an average OCAS sends 40 million tracking responses a day to external or internal customer requests and 70 million responses during peak season. OCAS tracking system operates on 46 CICS regions and fetch data from Internal Package Level Detail(IPLD), Origin Package Level Detail(OPLD), Trade Direct Movement Details (QVD), Exception Package Level Detail (XPLD) and Delivery Information Automated Lookup System(DIALS) databases.
OCAS has various ancillary applications, Time in Transit (TNT), Delivery Change Request (DCR), Tracers, Retail Drop Off (RDO), Void Packages, Internet Pickup Database (IPDB), On Call Air, Air Cargo, Enterprise Supply Ordering (ESO), Claims On WEB (COW), Quantum View Notify (QVN) and Electronic Delivery Notification (EDN) as part of package handling and visibility service.
The tracking system is developed in IBM mainframe environment using MQ Series Programming in COBOL, CICS, DB2, DB2 Stored Procedures, VSAM, IDMS, JCL and Easytrieve Plus. CICS is extensively using in the tracking architecture.

ADVANCED COMPUTER ASSISTED COLLECTION SYSTEM (ACACS): ACACS is an online web based system that supports the collection of delinquent and over limit accounts of Credit Cards, Installment loans and Mortgages. The project aims at converting all the green screen functions available in mainframe to web based front-end system. The back-end processing still exists in mainframes by receiving the requests from the front-end and passing the required data back. A standard XML messages from GUI is passed through Active Works Java Language Adapter to Middle-tier MQ Series Active Works Server. The message data in the form of request will reach CACS API’s in the Mainframe through Function router. CACS API Programs will receive XML Request Data and maps to a COBOL layout. API Programs process the request and format XML response messages or error/information messages to the GUI.
Responsibilities:
Preparation of Requirement specifications and Functional Specifications by liaisoning with Germany Technology. Active member while finalizing the Design methodologies, process and developing the methodologies to transform user’s business specifications to technology by interacting with the Web Technology group.

MQ INTERFACE TO COMPUTER ASSISTED COLLECTION SYSTEM (CACS): CACS is a collection module as part of Credit Card processing for Japan Citi Financial Business. MQ Interface was developed to the collection system for real time payment postings. Online MQ Message with customer details and the transaction amount will be generated and sent to collection system whenever customer makes payment through ATM’s, Internet or the Bank Terminals located at the customer sites. The MQ message information financial/non financial will be updated online in the CACS database and the delinquent account will be removed from the Auto Dialer queue for not calling the customer. The interface is developed in IBM mainframe environment using MQ Series Programming in COBOL, CICS, DB2, VSAM, JCL and Easytrieve Plus.
Responsibilities:
Performed Requirement study by interacting with the Japan Technology group and prepared a Project Plan, Functional specification, Design specification, Program specifications, Test plans and Application Risk assessment.

PRODUCTION SUPPORT OF COSMOS APPLICATION FOR MALAYSIA & INDONESIA AND MQSERIES PROGRAMMS DEVELOPMENT FOR EARMARKING AND POSTING OF FUND TRANSFER TRANSACTIONS:
COSMOS is the core module for Citibank Corporate Banking Business. COSMOS interfaces with various product modules like Loans & Deposits, Funds Transfer, Forex, Money Market, Data Entry, Profit/Loss etc. During on-line processing users will perform various transactions. All the transactions from various product modules will be consolidated, verified and posted into the customer and GL accounts. Interest posting, customer statement generation and General Ledger reports are also generated. CGEY is supporting the Banking Application from Singapore for 13 countries. The support team has a good hierarchy to share the technical expertise to resolve the problems in a systematic way.
Responsibilities: As a Production Support member attended for user problems, queries during online and batch processing for the COSMOS applications primarily for Malaysia, Indonesia and SMART-II applications and secondary for other Asia Pacific Branches of the Bank.
