REDUCTION OF COGGING TORQUE IN PMSM BY THE EFFECT OF DUMMY SLOTS IN STATOR (during PG)

In this research paper the effect of dummy slots in the stator by the various mechanical degrees is analyzed by using FEA (finite element analysis) computation method using MAGNET software (Infolityca).

IMPROVING TORQUE IN PMSM BY INTRODUCING FLUX BARRIER (during PG) (paper published in IEEE international conference)

According to this research paper, flux barriers are used on the rotor side of PMSM motors in order to improve torque performance and reduce cogging torque.

ANALYSIS OF PERMANENT MAGNET SYNCHRONOUS MOTOR WITH DUMMY SLOTS AND WITH FLUX BARRIER ADDED (during PG)

Using this research paper, I have compared two methods to reduce cogging torque: the use of dummy slots in stator and the addition of flux barriers to the dummy slots, which are implemented in the IPMSM as a combination of 10 pole 36 slots.

THE COMPARISON OF DIFFERENT SHAPES OF MAGNETS IN THE DESIGNING OF AN IPMSM MOTOR FOR ELECTRIC

VEHICLE APPLICATIONS

This study presents a comparison of different magnet shapes in the design of an Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (IPMSM) for Electric Vehicle (EV) applications. The objective is to identify the most suitable magnet shape in terms of motor performance and cost-effectiveness.
