• Pre-startup activities including process loop checks, line punching, catalyst loading, line flushing, line blowing and steam blowing of steam and process headers as per KBR Startup SOP’s.
• Together with equipment vendor, pre- commissioned, trip tested and startup the facility’s steam turbine driven Feed Gas Compressor, Process Air Compressor and Primary Reformer Induced Draft Fan, Synthesis Gas Turbine and Compressors and associated lubrication system turbines and pumps.
• Conducted refractory dry out of Primary and Secondary Reformers as per KBR Startup SOP’s.
• Pre-commission, commission and startup of BASF designed aMDEA CO2 removal system which includes line flushing, chemical flushing and medium loading of system related equipment.
• Lead the Pequiven Field Operations Team in Startup and normal operation of the Ammonia facility as per SOP.
• Conducted Catalyst Reduction to the various catalysts on the facility as per startup SOP.
• Assisted in carrying out chemical cleaning of plant Steam Headers and associated piping.
