Open Banking ( PSD II- Payment Service Directive): The UK regulatory body CMA (Competition and Markets Authority) has mandated (Open Banking) to the UK’s nine biggest banks to release their data in a secure, standardized form, so that it can be shared more easily between authorized organizations online (TPP-Third Party Vendor).This data includes some simple records, such as the location of branches and the exact details of certain banking products. It should make it easier to find banks with disabled access, for instance, or compare the features of different personal and business accounts in order to get the best deal.

Open Banking makes it possible to pass this rich information to third parties, who can use it to create new products. The account holder, who must give their explicit approval to any exchange. The project is for creation of APIs which will enable HSBC to share the banking information of its customers to the TPP and perform transactions like bill payments, fund transfer. future dated payments SWIFT and SEPA (Single Euro Payments Area) fund transfer and messaging.

As a Project Manager, worked on products for Open Banking PSD2, Core Banking and Digital Payments.

I gathered functional and non-functional business requirements by running brainstorming sessions, interviews, workshops from the Business and helped them transitioned to IT team.
