THEATRE DEPARTMENT
-Receiving patients from wards for surgery and making sure they are well prepared for surgery.
-Insertion of canula for I.V Line.
-Assisting anaesthetist in checking at machines. - Assembling necessary items for anaesthesia - Scrubbing for different theatre major and minor.
-Recovering of patient post-operation.
-Doing investigation e.g. full blood count.
-Aseptic wound care.
CASUALTY DEPARTMENT
-Provide preventative, positive and curative care to patients.
-Care for psychological, emotional and social needs of patients’ vital signs monitor i.e. temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration.
-Recording proper history and giving treatment.
-Suturing and dressing using aseptic techniques.
