As an intern house officer, I was first on-call for all the surgical casualty admissions including war casualties. I was responsible for Initial management of the patients and preparation of patient for casualty and routine surgeries and post-operative managements at post OP wards. I also had to work in pre-operative and post-operative clinics at the hospital. During operating theater hours, I could do minor surgeries such appendisectomy, abscesses, excision of lipomas, sebaceous cysts etc. INTERN HOUSE OFFICER IN OBSTETRIC AND GYNECOLOGY AUG 2006-FEB 2007 I was first on-call for obstetrics and gynecology ward. I was responsible for initial examination and management of non-complicated cases.
