I have worked on numerous architectural projects at different stages including concept design, schematic design, detailed design, and construction documents. I have also worked on the urban design of various master plans, such as community development master plans in the UAE, Iraq, Morocco, and the Levant area. I have also participated in the redesign and the reconstruction of destructed cities in Lebanon during my 3-year career with the United Nations, and I have worked on city planning level to improve and enhance existing neighborhood’s public realms in my homeland city Beirut.

Design Manager and urban planner for a major architectural practice in the UAE; working on a Master Plan Design. In charge of the design concept and the drawings production and all other documentation for all disciplines. main duties:

• Establishing the design basis, methodology and approach at the pre-conception stage. Defining the project purpose, goals, and the success criteria.

• Identifying the project team members, the resource’s deployment and the roles and responsibilities.

• Data collection and SWOT analysis. Understanding the assets of a project site and exploring the opportunities and design scenarios based on data and client’s brief and feasibility.

• Conduct analysis and research on urban planning policies, trends, and issues.

- Meydan District 11 for AZIZI in Dubai, a Master plan of 4500 townhouses: Concept Urban Planner/ Designer Main Duties:

• Led the design and implementation of architectural and urban design projects, including mixed-use developments, urban parks, and public spaces.

• Collaborated with local government, and stakeholders to develop sustainable and equitable design solutions that meet the needs of the community.

• Conducted site analysis, feasibility studies, and cost estimating to inform the design process.

• Developed design concepts and presentations to communicate design intent and purpose.

Site BIM Coordinator

My role was a Site BIM coordinator on the Abu Dhabi Medfield Terminal Complex (ADMTC). The total built-up area of the project is 700.000m with an estimation cost of $5.19Billion. The design was held by KPF and the construction was a joint venture of TAV, CCC and ARABTEC the JV short name was known as TCAJV. Worked as a Senior Architect and Urban Planner, playing a vital role in the reconstruction of the “Nahr El Bared” Palestinian Refugee Camp.

“Nahr El Bared” is a community of 30.000 inhabitants in northern Lebanon expanded on 200.000m . It has witnessed intense clashes in 2007, forcing residents to flee their homes and resulting in the complete destruction of the camp. I was part of the reconstruction process including promoting UNRWA’s urban policies and supporting its democratic governance over the camp, practicing, and sharing with the community UN’s rules and guidelines in local development, meeting families and encouraging the participatory design approach, coordinating with local and legal authorities, and managing the work with the consultants and construction staff on site.
