EXPERIENCE

Squaxin Island Tribe – Family Services – 2016 – 2021 Child Care Coordinator and Community Advocate

• Secured and administered three separate grants for the Tribe’s Family Services Department

• Managed the Childcare Assistance Program

• Data entry and reporting for all services under my prevue

• Grant reporting responsibilities for all three block grants secured, including: family violence and community assistance grants.

• Managed the programs in accordance with policies and procedures

• Reported on program funding and impacts

• Conducted outreach activities for the programs managed

• Worked directly with Tribal members to assist them in procuring services.

• Additionally managed the Tribal Food Bank and assisted Tribal members and clients during the pandemic.
