I began there working in the Labor Relations Dept., and most of my duties were to help any labor contract employees with questions or direct them to the right place to get the answers they needed. I was required to keep records of all communications and produce reports on each call and my resolution for that call. In August 2001, I was promoted to the Accounting Dept., where again I received both interior and exterior calls seeking information or direction on where to go for the information needed. I became very familiar with other departments in the company and produced reports as requested on various subjects. I retired early from the railroad due to health issues, which have since been resolved.

2018-Present, Accord Warranty

I am assigned projects in 11 states to answer questions and do whatever is necessary to resolve problems for customers who call in to the warranty office. Customer service is the major focus of my job, and I often work with customers who are frustrated or angry, and I am good at helping to relieve their frustration by making myself available to them and bringing their problems to a successful resolution.

I am looking for a job that will allow me to use those skills and set regular hours for performing those duties. Since I have been working from home for the last 3 years, I have an office in my home, and I am familiar with putting myself in a position to focus on the tasks I am working on. I am a multi-tasker and work well as part of a successful team, hoping to contribute to the company’s success.
