EXPERIENCE
Customer Advocate II/ IT Corespondent, Carvana, Richmond, VA
March 2020 - Present
As a Customer Advocate I kept frequent contact with the customer and documenting the purchase order from start to finish with detailed notes. Completing a pre-delivery and post delivery checklist was also part of the daily duties. In addition, promptly responding to customer requests and resolving complex issues were also part of my obligations. Creating logistic itineraries for vehicles, vehicle accessories, and vehicle deliveries would later be added to daily obligations. Serving as an IT Corespondent I tested multiple applications for logistics and customer service purposes. Reporting to the IT department on the status of the application. Brainstorming for possible applications with the IT department and other team leads was in my daily role. When apps were released I would show and explain the application to drivers and delivery personnel.
Substitute Teacher, Chesterfield County, Chesterfield, VA — 2013-2020
Working as a substitute teacher I prepared lesson plans that included class assignments, homework, and projects. Classroom discussions were conducted that gave the subject a real life analogy. Group projects were assigned to have students work and think together.
Retail Sales Representative, Verizon, Richmond, VA — 2010-2013
Duties as a sales representative included providing customers with products and solutions that simplified and organized their life. Sale generation, customer connection, customer retention, and troubleshooting customer issues were also part of being a representative.
Warehouse Attendant, Ft. AP Hill, Virginia — 2007-2008
As a government warehouse attendant, my role was to oversee the
operations of a warehouse facility that stored and distributed a wide
range of goods throughout the base. In order to be successful, leadership,
management, and inventory management skills were required for this
position. The warehouse supplied recreation centers with equipment
and distributed essential equipment to the barracks and dining halls.
