I received a promotion at Amazon from Load Planner to Network Operations Associate for Amazon corporate. I work in logistics and it is my job to watch over Amazon air and ground. It is my job to work with my team to make sure the necessary Amazon facilities have everything they need. I have a variety of responsibilities. I watch weather, trucks and airplanes. We decide if certain planes or trucks need canceled or if they need more. It is up to my team to constantly watch what is going on and keep everyone updated on changes. It is a very fast paced environment and challenging.

Load Planner
Amazon- Erlanger, Kentucky
I became a Load Planner last October. Then transferred from CVG9 to KCVG. Amazon air was a big change that has helped me grow professionally. As a Load Planner it is my responsibility to provide information for the flight from the load plan to the PSA, PA and management as necessary. I deal a lot with weights and balances and make sure the load plan is within certain specifications. I enjoy Load Planning. It gives me a chance to do a variety of roles. There is always something new each day and I am constantly learning and continuing education.

Process Assistant
Amazon- Hebron, Kentucky
I became a Process Assistant in January and really enjoyed the learning experience. I have excelled at my job and still enjoy the learning opportunities in the position. As a PA in outbound, I manage the moving of the trucks in the appropriate dock doors, manage associates, and assure the trucks get out on time to meet the needs of the Business. While staying very motivated and on task, I also oversee that the associates are continually working, as well as taking their required breaks at the appropriate times. My favorite learning experience thus far has been that I was afforded the opportunity to be a part of the “Away Team” to help facilitate the opening of BNA9 in Nashville. The experience was very rewarding and my contributions well accepted.
