OBJECTIVE

To obtain a position in the environmental, health and safety industry with major responsibilities geared towards improving current environmental, health and safety conditions while effectively utilizing my education, work experience, communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

EXPERIENCE: 14 YEARS AS SAFETY/HSE OFFICER/ADVISOR/HS Lead Supervisor/Deputy Manager MAJOR SUMMARIES OF DUTIES

Conduct a weekly TBT for the work force.

Submit weekly HSE statistics Report client.

Conduct weekly safety meetings and MOM.

Attend weekly safety interface meeting.

Conduct internal safety meetings.

Conduct weekly walkthroughs inspections with Company and Client

Investigate all incidents from PIR to final closeout.

Ensure housekeeping is done each day at site.

Control traffic on site and off site

Conduct office inspections weekly.

Conduct camp inspections weekly.

Check all permits are issued in all working areas.

Closeout all inspection findings in a timely manner

Closeout all logbook entry's

Ensure all waste management is being taken care of using waste manifest.

Ensure all JSA /RA are issued for the work areas.

Ensure training is being taken care of at site for all workers.

Issue warning letters and memos to workers and staff where violations have taken place.

Ensure all supplemental manpower are adhering to company CSSP

Ensure all Company staff understand the CSM, CSSP, and HIPs for the worksite.

Ensure lunchtime control measures are in place for the workers and drivers parking.

Ensure adequate fire water cover at site and project offices.

Be responsible and accountable for the proper performance of field safety officers under his authority.

Be empowered in writing by his management to stop their own work and work related to the contract that they deem to be unsafe and take immediate corrective actions as needed.

Understand safety and health requirements of the contract- Scheduled and this document-as well as the CSSP/HIP and CSM

Conduct safety kick-off meetings with subcontractors to explain site- specific safety requirements and expectations.

Communicate safety rules and standards to the contractor and subcontractor workforce.

Provide/assist with safety training for personnel.

Periodically inspect the work site, report any unsafe acts/conditions to the area supervisor and/or foreman, provide recommendations to correct deficiencies and follow-up to verify corrective actions have been taken.

Keep are cord of safety meetings, including agendas and personnel attendance records.

Keep a permanent record of job-related injuries/illnesses, near misses, fires, motor vehicle accidents, property damage, crane and heavy equipment incidents, etc

Participate in incident investigations, safety meetings, drills, etc., and conduct/facilitate safety training sessions.

Ensure general safety rules reprinted in languages understood by contractor and subcontractor personnel and are posted in areas where they are clearly visible.

Facilitate in the implementation of project HS plan.

Organize & conduct HS training program

Regular site inspection & identity the hazard, preparing the site report & submitting the concerned authority

Provide HSE induction to all new employees

Check & monitor the validity date of scaffold tag & inspection sticker to all machines & equipment used in the job site.

Maintain close working relationship with project team
