Engineer Technician July 2020 - July 2022 NUWC Keyport WA
Disassemble, reassemble, clean hardware/components and dispose IAW established shop processes and procedures. Built 165 MK-54 lightweight war shot main assemblies and 55 MK-54 Sonar Arrays. Inspected 170 sets of propellers and installed on MK-54 Torpedo. Disassembled 20 MK-54 Exercise Torpedoes and built 35 MK-54 Exercise Torpedoes. Inspected 25 MK-54 Nose Array Assemblies. Qualified and certified to handle all types of ordnance and ammunition. Performed continuity testing and rebuilt 15 MK-54 Cold Gas Exercise Torpedoes and disassembled 10 Cold Gas Torpedoes. Mechanical Helper January 2014 - January 2015
Disassembled and repaired/overhauled 200 Warheads for Lightweight Torpedoes. Transported MK-54 torpedoes and components. Disassemble and separated 3 MK-54 Warshot Torpedoes into Main Assembly. Assisted in canning and un-canning of close to 100 MK-54 Torpedoes. Disassembled, cleaned, overhauled and rebuilt 150 heavyweight torpedo and handling components for the Fleet Exercise Section (FES). Calibrated 150 depth shut off calves and ceiling cut off valve.
Firewatch/ Welders Helper January 2013 - January 2014 Olympic Personnel
Was a Boundryman at Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and was in charge of assisting with setting up and breaking down the boundaries with yellow tape in order to have people to weight test wields inside a submarine. While on station made sure no one who was unauthorized to go into the tape off area. Use of fire extinguisher. Responsible for inspecting entire work area for potential release of flammable vapors. Maintenance Supervisor January 2007 – January 2011 Navy
Promoted to serve as Weapons Torpedo Team Leader, overseeing assembly and maintenance of MK-32 MOD 17 Torpedo tubes and equipment on board USS Ford Everett, Washington, the 3rd largest work center in the Navy. Provided decisive leadership and direction for 3 team members through all phases of torpedo and component assembly and inspection of automated test equipment, monitoring and maintaining compliance with engineering drawings and specifications, and U.S. Military regulations.

Orchestrated multiple mission critical projects encompassing inspection, maintenance, and testing of major torpedo systems, subsystems, assemblies and components. Credited with training and coaching 15 staff in weapons safety including best practices for banding torpedoes; consistently achieved record of zero discrepancies or safety violations for all major inspections. Coordinated successful uploading and launch of 3 MK-46 Exerciser Torpedoes with zero deficiencies or injuries; resulted in an impressive 96% rating for Underwater Sonar Weapons inspection. Planned, directed assembly and maintained all torpedo handling equipment, MK-32, MOD 15 torpedo tubes and entire weight test for MK-46 torpedoes. Scheduled and presided over all maintenance and inspection operations. Troubleshot complex mechanical ordnance systems utilizing diagrams, schematics and technical data to isolate and resolve mechanical faults.
