Logistics Management Specialist

Performs a full spectrum of property management functions as well as providing training and tools to assist the organization in daily property management and logistics functions. Along with policies and procedures that affect the readiness for an organization consisting of 1,500 plus personnel and over 200,000 pieces of equipment. Primary advisor to the Deputy Chief of the logistics department.

Responsible for all client issued property in the United States Army Reserve Aviation Command.

Ensure cost-effective material management, accountability, and asset visibility in support of the Army Reserve.

Train and monitors the work of staff personnel on establishing stock levels, order frequencies and forecast future requirements.

Implements support programs for daily logistics operations.

Prepare directives and instruction pertaining to property accountability and inventory procedures.

Analyze and evaluate the effects of continuing changes in program plans to meet the services provided by the contract.

Inspects, monitors, and evaluates companies, staff, peers and business leaders on policy and regulatory requirements to increase performance and also recommends and implements modifications as needed.
