For the last 21 years, I have worked as a QC Manager or Coordinator and have been in NDE and performing Inspections for the past 31 years. On my last 8 projects I have been responsible for all subcontractor welder qualifications test, performance of site NDE, and reviewing all radiographic film.

Quality Coordinator for installation of piping of various locations in the Prudhoe Bay/BXP gathering centers and central compressor station. Have worked offshore as pressure vessel inspector for the repair and modification of two platforms for Unocal in Cook Inlet, Alaska. Inspector for the installation of H2S Tanks and lining, at B.F. Goodrich plant in Calvert City, Kentucky. Responsible for the supervision of all NEWS crews for two Louisville Gas & Electric Plants shutdowns. Coal generation plants, paper mills, petrochemical plants and refineries, aromatic plants and gas oil separation plants.

Iraq Rebuilding: 132 KV Power Lines for Quara Qush to Kurdistan “Erbil”. 132 KV Power Lines for Old Kirkuk to Debis. These Jobs were for the US Army Corp of Engineers.

Current RSO Certification

Responsible for supervision of NDE operation of up to 80 technicians during the construction of the Rayong Refinery. This included all scheduling of work arranging permits, scaffolding, monitoring radiation Safety, and controlling the radiographic testing backlog during construction activities.

Worked as a Radiographer or Radiographic Film Interpreter for over 16 years, and can write NDE procedures to ASME Section V requirements of RT, MT, PT, or PMI Testing. Have set up and administered programs to up grade the skills of Thai, and Expiate NDE technicians. Have trained NDE technician in how to work correctly and safely with radioactive Ir192 Gamma ray sources, and how to properly interpret radiographs. Have performed radiographs on piping systems, tanks, pressures vessels, pipelines, and structural components. Can perform NDE safety to any recognized Code or company specification.

Mechanical Supervision Experience:

Supervised the installation of piping systems and the settings of related vessels, pumps, and compressors. Can read structural mechanical P & ID PEF and isometrics drawings. Horizontal Directional Drilling on Volga River Crossing and Hydro testing.

Reconstruction on 2 Pump Stations: 1) at Astrakhanskaya PS; 2) at Komsomolskaya PS. Hydro testing and documentation reviews.

Yanpet Expansion Project

Yanbu AI-Sinaiyah, K.S.A

Quality Supervisor:

Supervisor of 7 expatriates & 21 subcontractor inspectors, duties included construction of 2 new boilers, revamps of 4 existing boilers. Pouring of concrete on various pipe rack foundations and concrete slabs. Welder’s test for various subcontractors under Fluor Daniel supervision. Placement of equipment and alignment procedures per project specification. Weld map and hydro test pack clearance for daily hydro testing. Hot-tap and cold-tap, golden weld procedures. Supervisor for the installation of piping equipment. Over three hundred craft personnel worked under my supervision. The work in my area was completed on time, and ahead of schedule. Every critical path milestone was completed ahead of schedule, and this lead to early completion of hydrostatic testing, flushing and cleaning system etc. This lead to substantial cost savings.

Quality Control Inspector:

Inspector for maintenance and casual labor contracts for Arco’s facility at Prudhoe Bay, Alaska. Worked with APC and ARCO/QA coordinated NDE activities and made sure all necessary inspection took place in accordance with Arco’s specifications and National Code requirements. This covered NDE for corrosion detection, Hot-Tap location and welding quality for all field or shop welding.
