SUMMARY

I’ve been in the oilfield since 1997, and currently do a lot of hands on mechanic work on anything diesel and hydraulics. I’ve done my best to accel in everything that I do. I’ve had several different job titles in my oilfield career. But all of them have had some level of mechanic work. Ive never gone to any kind of diesel engine school, it’s all hands on out in the field. From bulldozers, big trucks, cranes, forklifts, light duty trucks, pumps, welding machines, industrial engines of all kinds.

2019-2020 Lead shop mechanic STEP ENERGY FLORESVILLE TX. My duties as lead mechanic were many. 24hr phone communication with operations dept out on location. Troubleshooting over the phone to determine if equipment failing had to return to the shop or be repaired on location or sent to 3rd party services for warranty work. My job also consisted of keeping track of warranties and equipment hours for PM services. I always took it upon myself to always have at least 2 backups of every piece of equipment ready to go at the shop/yard. I kept up with DOT expirations. Every time a truck came to the shop for maintenance or repairs, I checked all paperwork in cab and DOT inspections. Along with tire DOT dates. I inspected 5 wheel and king pin hitches for safety. Made sure all equipment had a certified fire extinguisher. We ran computer diagnostic for troubleshooting, and code clearance. Swung engines, transmissions, power ends. Injectors and 24v electrical work and diagnosis. Along with 12V. At the end of every day, I made a daily report and emailed to corporate office to keep them informed of the daily goings on. Worked on all kinds of heavy equipment. Hydraulic systems etc.
