Duties: Managed information technology projects from initialization through closure using standard project management methodologies. I formed project teams and utilized project development lifecycle processes to successfully drive my projects.
Accomplishments: Implemented an interim solution to photo archiving methods until a permanent solution could be solidified. I successfully drove the project to install the current Photo System for the newspaper. This system is responsible for all images that are found in the daily and evening editions. This project needed extensive integration with Associated Press and current pagination systems. I was also part of the project team that created and installed the current Circulation System, which was a cross company endeavor and involved all of circulation and customer service. I was appointed to the Project Standardization Methodology Project that chose the company wide project management tool, and the help desk management tool for Phoenix Newspapers (Arizona Republic) and the Indianapolis Newspaper (Indianapolis Star).
