Report any unsafe, unusual and abnormal conditions in the plant to Shift Supervisor for action.

Take safe shutdown or start up under shift supervisor’s guidance and instruction. Closely coordinate with field operators in executing start-up, shutdown and maintenance activities

Control the plant in any upset, emergency and handle plant emergencies safely as per the procedure.

On behalf of Shift Supervisor, coordinate with outside parties regarding product export, import and raw material suppliers, during the emergency

Check laboratory results, file it & take corrective actions under shift supervisor’s guidance.

Respond and troubleshoot process alarms, upsets and coordinate with SS, field operator to normalize it.

Motivate and train new staff in order to maximize subordinate and the performance of the plant.

Communicate the requirement of operational procedures and instructions to subordinates and monitor their adherence so that work is carried out in a controlled manner.

Ensure compliance to all relevant safety, quality and environmental management procedures and controls within the plants to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality products/service and a responsible environmental attitude.
