1/2018 to 3/2018 Interim Assistant Nurse Manager. Tele Unit Kaiser Oakland, Ca. Travel assignment with Emerald Health Services- Facilitated the delivery of high quality care to 36 bed mixed med surg telemetry unit.

As a travel ADON I facilitated the smooth flow of patient care services to all inpatient and outpatient areas. Duties include service recovery, clinical resource, staffing, some case management and interfacility transfer coordination.

Created files monthly for submission to CMS and The Joint Commission. I also performed intensive reviews for Quality concerns. Nursing Administrative Supervisor- As a house supervisor for this 108 bed acute care hospital I facilitate the flow of patient care to all areas. Duties include (but not limited to) staffing, bed placement, crisis intervention, clinical support. Quality Council Chair 2013-2015. Multidisciplinary evidence based practice team. Participated in the conversion to Magnet Status. Also worked at the Level One Trauma Center as a Code Team Leader.

As a nursing supervisor in this busy 120 bed cardiovascular intervention center I was responsible for ensuring delivery of excellent patient care to all acute care inpatient and outpatient areas. Duties included staffing, after hrs OR and GI call management, service recovery and clinical resource. Provided break coverage for every unit including ER and pediatrics. Rapid response team leader. I also worked for a year in the cath lab and filled in perdiem as an ICU nurse. 2005-2007- Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center, 805-***-**** For a two year period while living on the central coast I moonlighted as a charge nurse in the neurotrauma ICU. This was a most effective trauma team who truly embraced the multidisciplinary model of care. As a staff nurse in ICU I provided primary critical care to 1-2 adolescent and adult patients. Trained in OCRUN project(Orange County Research Utilization in Nursing sponsored by UCI) Trained and received CCRN Status. 1984- 1990 South Coast Medical Center- Laguna Beach Ca.499-1311 As a staff nurse in ICU I provided primary critical care to 1-2 acutely ill patients. Comfortable with Hemodynamic monitoring, Ventilators, Line placement, Multisystem Organ Failure.

1980-1984- Alvarado Medical Center - San Diego, Ca. 619-***-**** As a nurse extern, then new grad I worked on a busy post op open heart stepdown unit providing primary care to three or four post CABG, Valve repair and various other cardiac medical and surgical patients.
