Volunteer Work

Volunteered as HR Director/Event Coordinator for the non-profit, No More Violence Organization, founded by Patricia Allen in 2011. I started in March 2021 until March 2022.I volunteered at No More Violence Organization. It is a non-profit organization dedicated to preventing violence in the community, help victims of traumatic experience, and provide free resources. As an Event Coordinator and grant writer, I networked and create partnerships with different vendors and companies to be a part of our organization events. I helped plan our community events with committee members and the CEO. As an Event Coordinator, I made sure that our partnerships could offer and fulfill the needs of the people in the community. I communicated with different companies and people who I know can utilize their products and services to our community events. I made resources easily available during our community events and participated supply/food distribution.
