Presently working with Kutch Chemical Industries Limited as Senior Manager and currently posted at Head Office. KCIL is planning for setup additional of 120MW STG set with 455TPH CFBC Boiler with addition to commissioned 60MW CPP to meet the power and Steam requirement of for their existing and future extension of various Chemical unit. Here, Nature of duties and responsibility performed as Project Manager is given Below:

PROJECT MANAGEMENT, ENGINEERING, PLANNING, CONTRACT, COORDINATION

Single point responsibility for the project.

Understanding the requirement as directed by Director and Dealing with Top Management.

Review Plot Plan and providing suggestion for improvement and getting approvals from Top Management. Finalizing of scopes and terminal points with Consultant and Package Vendors.

Collection of Information for New Tender, studying on tender Document, Analyzing and suggestion/ modification for tender document.

Review, Finalization of Feasibility Report, Technical Specification and Technical Evaluation Report coordinating with all Other Department for Project and as requirement.

Coordination with Engineering consultant, Package vendors and inter department for engineering drawings and technical requirement.

Coordinating between the Consultant, Bidder’s to support for Packages.

Review, Evaluation and Negotiation of Technical and Commercial Bids of Packages Vendors.

Erection and Commissioning of Air-Cooled Condenser and its Auxiliaries (Condensate Storage Tank, ACC Fans, Condensate Pump, etc.).

Erection and Commissioning of Coal Handling Plant of 160TPH Capacity including Screens and Crusher and Ash Handling System.

Erection and Commissioning of HRSCC, Pumps like Raw Water Pumps, Clarified Water Pumps, Service Water Pump, Fire water Pumps, Waste Water Pumps, etc.

Erection and Commissioning of Cooling Tower, Compressor.

Erection of LP Piping within CPP Complex Terminal.

Fabrication and Erection of Power House Building and Associated Pipe Rack in CPP Complex Terminal.

Raising NCR to Quality Issue.

Solving Day to Day problem of Contractor.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT, ENGINEERING, PLANNING, CONTRACT, COORDINATION: -

Coordinating with Consultant for all input required by all Vendors and Vice Versa.

Coordinating with Consultant and Drawing developing agency for fabrication drawing.

Managing and Developing Cordial relation with all vendors for completion of their scope of work as per PO/WO and Ensure WCC sign off before acceptance of invoice and timely release of payments.

In transition period from project to operation. I was looking after all commissioning and operation & maintenance activities:

OPERATION & MAINTENANCE:

Monitoring Daily Power Generation Report, Fuel, DM Plant consumption report.

Continuous monitoring of All the parameters in plant & take corrective action during any abnormalities to active objective and cost corrective operation of power plant.

Monitoring, perform root cause analysis and troubleshooting of Boilers, TGs, and its auxiliaries and Mechanical Equipment’ and Malfunctions in operational sequence.

Planning effective preventive maintenance schedule.

Documentation for the different maintenance activity including IBR formalities for Breakdown in Pressure parts as per IBR Guidelines.

Maintaining Spares inventory, procurement of spares ordering spares and follow ups to reduce MTTR

(Mean time to restore) and MTBF (Mean time between failure).

Modification of Mechanical systems to provide better convenience than the previous system.

Major & Minor shutdown planning, Daily routine checking, planning of contract manpower, job allocation, condition monitoring for critical equipment, rectification of fault by technical criteria, avoid repetitive fault with technical point of view.

Preventive & Predictive maintenance, Breakdown Maintenance and shutdown for Major Overhauling and Annual shutdown activities for Boiler pressure parts, non-pressure parts, rotary equipment

I have worked with ISGEC Heavy Engineering Limited. Here I have been deployed to various CFBC, AFBC and Travelling Grate Boiler Project as a Quality Engineer and also as per requirement I have to visit the vendor place for Material Inspection. Here, Nature of duties and responsibility performed:

Deputed for inspection of the Project of CFBC/AFBC/Travelling Grate Boiler overall responsibility for the development and obtaining approval of the Quality Assurance plan, Inspection Test plan and project specific Quality procedure.

Responsible to identify the Quality problems and areas of non-conformity and to initiate recommended and substantiate corrective actions.

Perform inspection with Third Party/ Client/ Consultant and Contractor for all on-site inspection and testing requirements.

Ensure consistent adoption of client Quality Standards and Specification to the project.

Maintaining all inspection Report, ISO Documentation with the client representative and other Project Personnel.

Preparation of Punch Points and follow up for completion Punch Points.

Preparation & follow up of SAR and implementation of corrective action for same.

Developing and motivating workman’s by sharing good knowledges and skill standards

Perform inspection of purchased parts, components, sub-assemblies, finished products etc.

Perform inspection of fabricated parts, sub-assemblies and ensure it complies with the drawings & specifications.
