Taking calls through our hotline from parents/guardians, physicians, alderman and landlords, who are reporting EBL’s for children/infants or who are either requesting a home inspection, as of result of the positive testing. Working with and assisting the Nursing Supervisor, Inspector Supervisor(s), Inspectors and Public Health Assistance (PHA) with the gathering of accurate data to assure, prior to a home inspection and home visit by the PHA’s, that they are going to the correct place regarding the proper child. Maintain & updating a spread sheet on inspections and their findings in the home. Inputting data from a contact log sheet from PHA’s home visits. Preparing & submitting monthly reports, mailing regular mail and certified letters of reminders to parents advising of retesting of child for lead; troubleshooting office equipment problem such as, fax/copiers, following up on 311 service requests and closing complaints regarding lead, water testing inquiries, processing home inspections, internet property searches and accessing data from cornerstone and HFS Medi program database with regards to children in our HHLPSS program and assisting other units with their workload when needed. Retrieving files, scanning files, and a host of other duties entailed with healthy homes and environment inspections and data input in assuring data is correct before Inspectors are assigned and complete home and environment inspections.
