While working at Central Dupage Vision, my job title was an Optometrist Technician. I dealt with booking appointments, verifying and running insurance, setting up patient files, as well as doing call backs. I also did the pre testing on the patients, including taking retinal photos. My customer service was key in my job, as making sure every patient was comfortable during their visit, as well as when their pre testing is taking place. I also did some light housekeeping around the office to ensure a safe and cleanly environment for every patient, as well as our office staff. My job also entailed working hand in hand with the doctor, assisting them with anything they needed done or to relay information to the patient. My job entailed doing rounds to make sure the property was clean, and safe for everyone.
