Tara Foods (Kroger Manufacturing) – Albany, GA

In this position I follow all safety procedures including wearing of all required personal protective equipment. Effectively and safely operate and maintain the assigned machine and all related equipment to ensure all daily orders are met. Complete safety observations when assigned.

Read and follow standard work for assigned machine. Follow all standard work processes. Verify proper components at the work station before beginning a job. Check for color, temperature, and consistency. Cook to customer specifications sheet. Follow all PPE’s policy. Make sure there is no cross contamination.

Monitor product to ensure quality standards are met or exceeded. Complete “If down, do” list for this position when conditions dictate. Complete all required paperwork and documentation accurately and legibly. Document my lab checks for color every hour to make sure I’m cooking per customer satisfaction. Creel Yarn 12 hours to make carpet turf. Responsible for 18 position machine. Keep up with the color, style, and pin number. Responsible for machine doffing in a timely manner. Load packaged filament yarn (nylon, polypropylene, and polyester) onto an Air Entanglement machine. Doff off finished product packages as directed and other operates an AE machine.

Open pallets or cases of raw yarn using duck bill knife or other appropriate hand tool. Recycle or discard packaging materials. Remove raw yarn from container, transfer to creel pegs and splice in. Place empty tubes in magazine.

Place appropriate yarn label inside tube of finished yarn. Tie off and doff packages of finished yarn. Visually compare finished yarn to a standard for color and quality discrepancies. Pack yarn on pack out conveyor. Compare labels; doff tickets, and specification sheets for discrepancies. Maintain any reports and/or records.

Pantry Inspector 01/1996 – 02/1998

Dana’s Undies – Blakely, GA

Inspect panties doe holes or sewing issues. Package 20 to 40 bags in an hour for production. Assorted panties to make sure they were a fit from sizes 3T-4T.

Make sure production was met on a daily basis.
