PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Sept 2021 – January 2023

Software Engineer/Primavera Technical Specialist

Completed Primavera P6 Enterprise Project Portfolio Management upgrade from 16.2.9 to 20.12.17 for Lockheed Martin’s RMS division. Project methodology was based on the agile principles and documented in the Jira dashboard. Project scope included creating the project plan, environment sizing, acquisition of hardware, software installation, software patching, database conversions, and reconnecting several integration touchpoints. The development, test and production environments were upgraded. The final solution was deployed for 700 worldwide RMS users on 17 dedicated Citrix servers, with very advanced security protocols. In addition, web enabled components were deployed to connect Primavera to other applications (Cobra, SAP, and other home-grown solutions) via web services and Primavera’s API. Process improvement outcomes were achieved by eliminating several steps of onboarding new Primavera users and by eliminating error prone software functionality not being used.

Sept 2016 – July 2020

IT Technical Specialist - Additional Responsibilities

Continued support for every aspect of Marathon’s 42 Primavera worldwide installations as in prior years. In addition, assumed role as primary technical lead for all software and projects involving non SAP business solutions. This included about 15 applications in Marathon’s portfolio. The two largest were KMS MOC (Management of Change) and ACET (Asset Integrity), both of which were enterprise solutions encompassing multiple assets around the world. My involvement included removing and adding new business units to both of these major systems as acquisitions or divestitures occurred. Offered user and administration support, handling all upgrades of software and hardware, making sure new versions of systems were available on Marathon’s software catalog and available for automated delivery. Ensured that Equatorial New Guinea and UK users could access these systems via Marathon’s emulation technology with satisfactory performance. As a part of a license cost reduction project both KMS and ACET were migrated to a new solution. As Marathon’s conversion specialist migrated all data from KMS (an industry standard) to a custom version of SAP MOC. Once converted, provided SAP MOC support and configurations for 5 different MOC business asset models. As the ACET conversion specialist I worked with the Metergrity to convert ACET to Visions, Marathon Asset Integrity Solution for all platforms, plants and upstream oil fields. Converted database data and volumes of documents relating to the equipment testing that occurred from 2002 to present. Once completed, resumed my support role for three major groups using the Visions 5.4 system. The other applications I supported were small departmental solutions. Support was similar to the enterprise solutions: license management, automated delivery, user access and issues. Prior to leaving, trained the remaining team all assigned application responsibilities.
