MEDICAL ANSWERING SERVICES (MAS) - Syracuse, NY
April 2021 to July 2022
Due to the fact that it was strictly work from home, My position required good self direction and strict self discipline, an organized mind, and good memory retention. A good agent needed to successfully respond to as many as 90-100 calls per day, making it possible for Medicaid recipients to get to and from life sustaining medical appointments. While a part of the MAS family, I was honored to sit as a member of their Mission Statement and Purpose committee responsible for gauging the level of public and company morale in hopes of increasing the company’s success at implementing and maintaining its Purpose and Mission within both employee base and the community they serve. Leasing Consultant
Green National - Syracuse, NY
January 2018 to June 2021
Responsible for knowing lease terms, property availability, maintenance issues, potential resident app follow ups, following state hyd policies as they changed over the course of Covid 19 and the new fueling requirements policies
Resident Manager
The Salvation Army - Syracuse, NY
October 2009 to June 2012
Responsible for the management of a 16 bed Co-Ed shelter for homeless and throw away youth. Success looked like all House Members had successfully, hopefully happily, completed their daily educational or vocational obligations and were positively engaged in performing good service to the community. Not so successful days were the ones that may have included a fight or, unfortunately, an arrest. The fact that it was Co-Ed meant a manager, such as myself, needed to have three working pairs of eyes or the equivalent level of observational skills and a psychic’s intuition. I thrived amid the sometimes almost overwhelming chaos and, as a plus, during my time with this wonderful organization, I had many, many opportunities to put my CASAC and my BHS to good use, directing and comforting, uplifting and encouraging some of our neighborhoods’ most vulnerable of residents, and left the agency only to care for a family member of my own that, ironically, suddenly required hands on care 25/8.
