Setup, document, purchasing and install Server/PC/MacOS applications QuickBooks & various network devices. MS/SQL database & point-of-sale software setup Backoffice server, reporting and accounting. Customer service and attention to detail are key to this support position. Customer support and installation/administration and scheduling of Microsoft’s Ntbackup.exe as well as Veritas NetBackup Exec. Install and configure Fedora core 4 and 5 for operation of the ffmpg libraries using mplayer and audio and video streaming via Video LAN player. Download and installation of GPL sources for compilation on gcc+ native compilers. Install and maintain server RAID sets and tape DLT libraries. Installation, support & maintenance of Windows 10-22H2 & 11-22H2 including Apple Ventura, Monterrey & Ubuntu LTE based systems. Install and patch maintenance of all Apple, Dell, Lenovo & Hewlett Packard E series servers and subsystems are required. Break fix of servers including personal computer systems and laptops were a requirement. Construction of a base imaging system using Symantec’s Ghost for the purpose of a standardized, administrational and easily restorable image was also required. Troubleshoot firewall and TCP/IP network issues. Setup and maintain VPN site-to-site remote access and remote desktop sessions and configurations were also a daily task. On-Site documentation and installation/repair “cookbooks” were also produced. Currently I am also supporting and developing web sites base with Adobe Dreamweaver 2022. Enterprise backup system design and print consolidation projects to a clustered SAN and NAS appliance while integrating with Windows 2000/2003 using active directory.
