Pull, pack, scan-check, label, and final palletize. Then measure and weigh and record info for shippers info on B.O.L. then wrap and label shipping info and Destination including packing sheets of customer orders starting from Priority to standard. Urgent/Same day, Rush, next day, 2-day, etc etc. Afterwards if there's time and needed help load pallets/orders to indicated trailers for delivery. Clean and maintain working area clean and neat.

First thing daily from start to finish check job board for any all jobs coming and going for outgoing, on the press, and needs to print or start and note from most important to least. Then go through the presses list and see where each press is at or left off to determine whether to stage next job on press or just stage for next. Supply packers with supplies needed and size boxes to make sure they flow and not run out so the line will not have to stop production, check and assure everything crosss checks with job orders and shipping papers in jobs and quantity, with all finish orders and stage in shipping according to priority to be either shipped or ready for pick up. Help out with maintaining work area and warehouse clean and neat. Help unload incoming product of the trucks either by hand, pallet jack, dolly or unfolding with forklift. Pull and stage next jobs, hot orders, or next in production for press operators. Basically stage, pull, pick, anything and all priority, maintain cleanliness, and help wherever needed. Then once a month I would keep, count, and make a inventory report of entire lists of supplies including ordering fulfillment to restock. American Apperal

Print Studio - Department Lead

Worked for American Apperal Clothing Manufacturer in D.T.L.A for the departments Print studio. Department was in charged of printing on shirts whether it was by digital printing or screen printing. I myself mostly found myself working in the screen printing production side running an automatic 10 color press. My job started in checking and setting up all presses digital and screen printing, check emails for job priorities and check if changes where made or needed correcting. Make samples of high order productions for companies and or customer approvals when requested and for comparison. Mix Inks, pre heat ovens, warm up machines and check and maintain them, stage and set up runs for operators to eliminate as much downtime as possible, train and get started any new employees or helpers sent from other departments to help and get them s y armed and producing then finally go to what's most first important get it done and approved then fall back to the automatic which I ran and start production with the rest of the team.
